Nepal province map

Province boundaries only. Portfolio exposure and branch locations are not available in this release.

This page draws the outlines of the seven provinces of Nepal from a public boundary dataset. Select a province on the map or in the list to read its name, the name it carries in the source file and its code. Nothing on this page comes from an institution, a snapshot or a signed in session, and no figure is shown.

The page is in English only. Province 1 and Province 2 of the source file are shown under their names Koshi and Madhesh; the source names stay in the boundary file and are shown when you select them. NP-P1 to NP-P7 are the codes the source file gives the provinces.

The drawing of the boundaries needs JavaScript and the boundary file of this site. Until it is drawn, the seven provinces are listed here as text.

  • Koshi (source name Province 1), code NP-P1
  • Madhesh (source name Province 2), code NP-P2
  • Bagmati, code NP-P3
  • Gandaki, code NP-P4
  • Lumbini, code NP-P5
  • Karnali, code NP-P6
  • Sudurpaschim, code NP-P7
